Tailmakers

don't get me wrong, I LOVE guys like the mertailor- but there are some things i was bugged with:

1. knees and ankles are too visible... and easy to fix actually! :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qih68ZSni4Q

2. the fins are the same color as the tail, and it looks kinda fake :( fins and scales should be pretty, like this:

These latest tails from Eric are just stunning (the mermaids are none too shabby either). A nice piece, showing off some fantastic work.

You may notice of late that many of the mermaid tails appearing on this site all have a distinctive signature - gorgeous, ornate and astonishingly realistic. The reason for this is simple - all are the product of the skilled hands of Eric Ducharme, the Mertailor. His work recently has just become jaw-droppingly good, and it's no accident that his tails are beginning to appear in commercials, films, and TV. I've been planning on doing a gallery of his works for a while now, but his recent tails made me feel that Eric's work needs to be showcased.
