Previews (a magazine that provides preview of comic books) indicates that Tarot, Witch of the Black Rose has a near-term story arc dealing with some antagonist who are "Fallen (Warrior) Mermaids". The ads also indicated a limited-edition lithograph (showing the Witch strongly resembling--if not an actual--mermaid) is available with some of the comics.
Caution: The ads indicate the comic is for "Mature Audiences."
