Ookay. :iconkawaiipandah:'s birthday was like a month ago, but I asked what she'd like to have as a gift well in advance! But! At first I was busy with studies. Then I was just plain lazy. Then I was busy again. And! Now! The birthday gift is like a month late! (I'm sorry)But anyway, even if it's totally late this is still for *KawaiiPandah. She asked for Shirahoshi from One Piece, whom I like a lot myself so it was nice drawing her. Other than the scales though, I've never understood OP mermaid scales...
