The Mermaid Aiyana

The mermaid Aiyana illustrates that not all mermaids live in tropical climes - indeed, she seems to thrive best in the frozen wastelands of the north.

Mermaid Aiyana, a turquoise and iridescent tailed creature was born into a northern river, onto a colour-laden bed of water lilies. She was named Aiyana; meaning eternal blossom in native tongue. After years of fun and laughter in the comfortable, secure, and cool waters of the river, Aiyana decided to travel to newer horizons. The river led her to a great lake, which took her to many new places. Some wondrous. Some treacherous. Meeting new creatures and people along the way, she continues her journey to this day...In search of so much more.
